Welcome to my section of the Labour.ie website.

I am proud to represent the people of Westport, Co Mayo as a public representative on Westport Town Council and I have been Labour's Westport candidate for Mayo County Council in the last Local Elections.

One of my main aims is to involve the people of Mayo in their local democracy and I am committed to a reform of local government with directly elected full time Mayors with executive powers.

I support the council's planned social and affordable housing schemes such as the Tubberhill scheme which will see over 90 units, built in two phases, of high quality townhouses and apartments.

I also believe conservation is as important as development.
