Labour Women Update - June 2025

Labour Women held a national meeting and summer social last Saturday. Though the sunny weather would have excused anyone who didn't want to spend the afternoon inside, there was a great turnout nonetheless.

Labour Women Update - June 2025 - The Labour Party

We held a productive discussion and debrief on the 2024 elections, breaking into two discussion groups to consider what we’ve learned and what we can do differently next time. Last year Labour Women organised trainings on fundraising, understanding tallies to build an electoral strategy, resilience and more. We were also able to support every candidate who sought our financial support, however there is always more we can do to support women in the party.

The next step will be a survey we will circulate to women candidates in the coming weeks to collect and collate more detailed information. Thanks to everyone that came along and contributed to the discussion.
