Why I got involved in politics
I got involved in politics because I love Galway and I want to see it become the absolute best it can be.
I believe we need more representation for younger people and women on our Councils to ensure all the issues impacting our community are heard.
I believe rural Ireland has huge potential, but as the recovery after the 2008 financial crash happened in our bigger cities, it hasn’t come to us in the same way.
Our towns and villages are littered with derelict homes and commercial buildings that need to be brought back to life and into the community. Our public transport access is limited.
My priority as a Local Area Rep is to advocate for East Galway. We deserve the same level of priority and resources as any city and I will fight for that.
