Why I got involved in politics

I want to be part of change. As a single parent I understand the struggles of the ordinary workers during this cost of living crisis and housing crisis. I want to change things for the better so that my children don't have the challenges we do at present.

My priorities

As an SNA my priorities are to see more resources and school places put into place to ensure our most vulnerable children are made a priority by government.

As a single parent I want to see more supports pur in place to allow one parent famikies to access employment, education and supports and services.

As an advocate for women's aid I believe on a local and national level we need to see a zero tolerance strategy for domestic violence. We need more reoairnces supports and services and funding put into those caring for victim's. We need to see paid domestic violence made available in every employment and Jennies Law implemented to ensure a register for perpetrators of domestic abuse.
