I am honoured to be selected as Labour’s Candidate for the first Directly Elected Mayor of Limerick. This is a huge opportunity and challenge for Labour in Limerick. As the youngest candidate standing in this election, my pledge is to be the Mayor for Housing. For many people my age in Limerick, the legitimate aspiration to work hard, save and eventually buy your own home is slipping away. I am standing in this election because I want to put in place a Mayoral Programme to deliver the homes we need. I passionately believe in Limerick. It’s where I’m from, where I’ve worked and studied, but I think we can do better. I want to make Limerick the best place in Ireland to work, live and raise a family.
