Nash announces up to 100 new jobs for Drogheda
Senator Ged Nash has announced the creation of up to 100 new jobs at the PCI Pharma Services facility in the Donore Industrial Estate, Drogheda.
The new high containment packaging facility in the town will specialise in the primary and secondary packaging of pharmaceutical products to the highest global standards.
Senator Nash explained, “During my period as a TD and when in government, I worked very hard to promote Drogheda for jobs and investment.
“The Regional Action Plan for jobs which I authored in late 2015 is delivering for Drogheda.
“This investment by PCI, a leading pharmaceutical industry company employing over 3,000 people worldwide is a massive vote of confidence in the town and comes as a result of the acquisition by the US firm of local company Millmount Healthcare.
“Millmount started life as a small start-up in the incubation centre in the region and grew into a very substantial firm in its own right.
“It is gratifying to see Pascal Keogh and his colleagues go from strength and to see the operation they started 21 years ago being enabled to become a global player as a result of the acquisition of the firm by PCI.
“The addition of these new roles is great news for Drogheda and for Louth and Meath in general.”
