Shop local this Black Friday Weekend.

Labour TD for Limerick, Jan O’Sullivan, is encouraging people to shop local this Black Friday weekend.

Commenting today Deputy O’Sullivan said;

“In the run-up to Christmas, we all like to look for a deal where we can. However, when it comes to Black Friday the vast majority of money spent goes into companies based outside Ireland.

“I am encouraging people to make the effort to shop locally, and ideally buy Irish this Christmas. Local stores add to the character and the economy of towns and cities. 

“Buying local also help smaller businesses ensure good wages for local employees while supporting local entrepreneurs who are taking a greater risk than major corporations in setting up businesses.”
