Support the National Demonstration for Palestine
Labour’s Duncan Smith TD has reiterated calls for a ceasefire and called on people to support the national demonstration for Palestine tomorrow.
Deputy Smith said:
“We have all looked on at the horrific escalation of violence in Gaza. We need to call out Israeli war crimes for what they are and have a mass mobilisation.
“We need the immediate ceasefire to bring an end to the bombardment of Gaza by the State of Israel. More than 10,000 people have now been killed since 7th October, including more than 4,000 children. There can be no delay in calling for an immediate end to the violence to prevent this unthinkable humanitarian disaster from worsening.
“We must stand in solidarity with the people in Gaza.Tomorrow, we in Labour will be supporting the National Demonstration for Palestine and I urge people to join us.”
