Lorna Fitzpatrick
Why I got involved in politics
I have been actively involved in campaigning through community and student groups on issues that are built upon our core values and principles. I joined Labour once I had concluded my time as an elected representative within the Student Movement because I believe that the Labour Party has a crucial role to play in shaping the future of our country.
My priorities
I am focused on promoting policies that support people to thrive in our area. A place where young people can raise children in the knowledge that they will have a secure place to call home, a childcare and school place to start their educational journey and a safe community to build friendships and memories. A place where older generations are protected and safe. I want to support policies that support local businesses, combat climate change, and promote equality and social justice. I am dedicated to ensuring that everyone in our community has access to the resources and opportunities they need to thrive.
Whether you have a question, concern, or just want to share your thoughts and ideas, I am always available to listen and to work with you to build a brighter future for our community. With a deep understanding of the challenges facing our community and a proven track record of results, I am committed to fighting for our community's interests and help ensure that we continue to move forward together.
My background
I have a passion for public service, public policy and a commitment to fighting for the issues that matter most to our community. I am a tireless advocate for progress and change.
