LABOUR TO LAUNCH BILL TO TACKLE UNCERTAIN HOURS CONTRACTS
Labour Party Spokesperson on Labour Affairs and Workers’ Rights, Senator Ged Nash, will launch the Party’s Protection of Employment (Uncertain Hours) Bill 2016 today
Wednesday 21st September, 2.00pm
Archbishop Square, directly opposite the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Kildare Street (weather permitting)
The Bill will address an evolving group of atypical and casual employment relationships in sectors such as hospitality, retail and the social care sector, to prevent casual, low paid and low quality jobs from becoming a permanent feature of our landscape.
