Labour Doorstep today 2pm Gresham Hotel - The Labour Party
The Labour Party Executive Board is meeting today at 11am in the Gresham Hotel to agree the rules for a leadership election and for Seanad nominations. It will be followed by a Central Council meeting that will discuss the outcome of the election.
Brendan Howlin TD will be available to speak to the media at a doorstep at 2pm in the Gresham.
Note: the Executive Board of the Labour Party consists of Party Officers (Leader, Chair, Treasurer), 8 directly elected members from Party Conference, reps of Labour Sections and the Association of Labiur Cllrs, and two PLP representatives.
The Central Council consists of the Exective Board and a member representative from each Dáil constituency and party section.
