Catherine Connolly for President - The Labour Party

Catherine is a formidable politician of the left and someone who shares many of our values and aspirations, particularly our vision for an active State in the provision of public services from housing to health to transport to climate. She has been a stalwart voice for the people of Gaza and has consistently called for stronger action to stop Israel’s genocide and for the rights of the Palestinian people.  The Labour Party is proud to support her candidacy.

Catherine has always been a strong and consistent advocate for those facing disadvantage and those left behind here at home including the survivors of Magdalene Laundries and Mother and Baby Homes. She is a skilled orator and has made highly impactful and memorable speeches on behalf of those without power.
