CALL TO SCRAP THE SPECIAL CRIMINAL COURT SHOWS RICHARD BOYD BARRETT IS OUT OF TOUCH

09 February 2016

On a television debate last night, Richard Boyd Barrett, sided with Sinn Féin, and called for the abolition of the special criminal court.

“I believe it wrong to call for an end to the Special Criminal Court. It is an integral part of our criminal justice system, as is evident from the recent shootings on the north side of Dublin.

The Special Criminal Court has played a vital role in bringing armed gangsters and thugs to justice. Keeping members of the public safe must be of the utmost importance.

Sinn Féin and Richard Boyd Barrett are out of touch with reality as evident from the activities of heavily armed ruthless gangs in Dublin over recent days.”
