O’Sullivan offers sympathy on death of Anthony Foley

16 October 2016

I was saddened to hear of the sudden death of Munster Head Coach, Anthony Foley.

My thoughts first and foremost are with his wife Olive and his family.

Anthony was an iconic figure in Munster and Irish rugby. His loss is tragic to Munster and Irish rugby fans across all the world.

The vigour Anthony brought to the game of rugby both as a school-boy player with St. Munchins, his club Shannon, as captain of both Munster and Ireland, and as Head Coach of Munster will be fondly remembered by everyone in Limerick and far beyond.

Ar dheis dé go raibh a anam dilis.
