Hannigan commends ‘dedication and impressive track record’ of Marian Harkin

Dominic Hannigan, the Labour Party’s European election candidate for the Midlands-North-West constituency, has commended Marian Harkin for her ‘dedication and impressive track record’ as an MEP.

Ms. Harkin announced today that she will not contest the European Parliament election this May.

Commenting, Mr. Hannigan said:

“Marian Harkin has been a hard-working MEP for Ireland over her three terms as an MEP.  I commend her for her dedication and impressive track record on community and voluntary issues, in particular.
