Howlin expresses solidarity with the people of Nice
Speaking after three people were killed in a terror attack in a church in Nice, Labour Spokesperson on Foreign Affairs Brendan Howlin has condemned the brutal attack.
Deputy Howlin said:
“As Labour Spokesperson on Foreign Affairs on behalf of myself and my colleagues in the Labour Party, I am revulsed by the horrific and barbaric nature of this morning’s vile attack at a church in Nice. My sincere condolences are with the victims and their families.
“This act of terrorism is an attack on all of us and on the freedom’s including the freedom of religion that we all enjoy. All our thoughts are with the people of Nice today who have had yet again endured another act of vile terrorism.
“We must all stand together and condemn this act of wanton violence that has no place in a civilised society. An attack on one European country is an attack on all of us. People of all faiths and none must speak with one voice against this kind of barbaric violence. The people of Ireland stand with France and with French people everywhere against this and any other vile acts of terrorism.
