Statement by Brendan Howlin on the death of Wexford Council worker

Labour Party TD Brendan Howlin has expressed his condolences on behalf of the Labour Party to the family, friends and colleagues of the Wexford Council worker who tragically lost his life working to clear debris caused by Storm Eunice.
Deputy Howlin said:
“We are all saddened and shocked to hear the tragic news today that one of our local authority workers was killed while serving his community.
“This terrible news really highlights the real-life risks that essential workers take every day on the behalf of all of us.
“Our thoughts today are with his family, friends and colleagues in Wexford County Council. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.”
