Why I got involved in politics

Chris Harrison is the Kildare local area rep for the Labour Party. Chris was brought up in Monasterevin and still lives there, he has always been passionate about community and trying to make a difference. Chris is deeply committed to his family, and to creating a community that is safe, welcoming, and supportive for everyone.

Chris has worked for many years in the trade union movement, advocating for workers’ rights and fair treatment. His experience in this area has given him a deep understanding of the challenges facing working families, and he is committed to working with the community to advocate for policies and changes that support them.
