About me

My name is Damien Corish. Your Labour Party Candidate for the Rosslare district.

I have lived in the district all of my life and I am a proud son of South County Wexford.

I have recently completed studies in Geographic Science and was a tradesman for over 10 years working in the Rosslare area. I have been active within the Labour Party for some time serving on multiple executives, and now want to bring Labour values of fairness and equality to the people of the area.

Living in the district all of my life I understand the struggles and needs people go through on a daily basis, whether it be affordable housing, transport, education or healthcare.

My priorities

• Affordable housing and social housing.
• Investment at Rosslare Euro port.
• The reopening of Waterford rail, reconnecting the South of Ireland.
• Job retention and creation for all.
• Protecting our vulnerable by ensuring investment in critical amenities is available, such nursing homes.
• Making sure the district has enough GPs.
• Accessible health care and education.
• The up keeping of our road network.
• The protection of our small medium farmers/ businesses.
• Conservation of our beaches and natural environment.  

I want to be the voice for those who need it most in South Wexford.
