My priorities

By communicating and consulting effectively and empathetically with my local community, I will be working on the following:

Housing

We need well planned, sustainable and affordable housing for all.

Sustainability and Waste Management

We need clean, green and safe communities which we can be proud of.

Arts & Culture

We need to address the lack of artist spaces, ensure access to the Arts for all, and increase our investment into Dublin’s arts and culture scene.

Childcare

We need to massively increase the availability of childcare spaces and address the enormous financial burden to parents.

My background

I have lived in Smithfield for 8 years and am raising my family here.

I first got involved in politics from the advocacy side as founder of Bainne Beatha which is campaigning for improved breastfeeding support in Irish healthcare.

I also worked for MABS on Dorset Street for four years which educated me on the challenges faced in the Inner City.

Finally, I am a songwriter and this year was awarded the Arts Council Young People, Children and Education Award and am currently developing music for children

Clubs and Committees

I’m a member of the following committees:

• Climate Action, Environment & Energy SPC

• Grangegorman Development Agency Board

• Dublin City Joint Policing Committee

• Ringsend Toll Bridge Designated Activity Company

I am a founding member of Parenting Artists Ireland, established to support working artists who are also parents.
